Shipping & Delivery Policy

This page explains how we handle processing and delivery for orders placed on elixirstore.co.uk.

Please read this together with our Returns & Refunds Policy, Cancellations and Custom & Personalised Orders pages.


1. General information

  • Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

  • Delivery timeframes below apply from the time your order is placed and assume there are no issues with payment, address details or courier delays.

  • Shipping costs (if applicable) are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

Unless otherwise stated, the information on this page applies to deliveries within the UK.


2. Fragrance orders

All fragrance orders are shipped from our warehouse via Royal Mail 48.

  • We aim to process and dispatch fragrance orders quickly, typically the same or next working day.

  • Royal Mail 48 usually delivers within 2–3 working days from dispatch.

  • In most cases, your fragrance should arrive within 2–3 working days of placing your order, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Please note:

  • Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by Royal Mail delays, seasonal peaks or adverse weather.

  • Fragrance orders may require someone to be available at the delivery address.


3. Custom orders & leather goods

Any custom orders and orders containing leather goods (including personalised leather items) are sent to our workshop to be made to order.

  • It usually takes 2–4 working days for your custom piece to be produced.

  • Once made, your order is dispatched and can take up to 5 additional working days to be delivered.

Overall, for custom and leather items, you should allow:

Approx. 5–10 working days from placing your order for delivery.

This timeframe covers both the production period and the delivery time.


4. Orders containing both fragrances and leather/custom items

If your order contains both:

  • Fragrances (shipped from our warehouse via Royal Mail 48), and

  • Leather goods or other custom-made items (sent to our workshop),

then your items may:

  • Be shipped separately, and

  • Arrive at different times.

In most cases:

  • Your fragrance will arrive first (approx. 2–3 working days), and

  • Your custom/leather items will follow within 5–10 working days from the date of order.

If we plan to ship everything together, or make an exception, this will be stated in the order notes or follow-up communication where possible.


5. Estimated delivery windows (summary)

For quick reference:

  • Fragrances only

    • Service: Royal Mail 48

    • Estimated arrival: 2–3 working days from ordering (excluding weekends/bank holidays)

  • Custom orders & leather goods

    • Production time: 2–4 working days

    • Delivery time: up to 5 additional working days

    • Estimated arrival: 5–10 working days from ordering

  • Mixed orders (fragrance + leather/custom)

    • May arrive in separate shipments

    • Fragrance: approx. 2–3 working days

    • Leather/custom: approx. 5–10 working days

All timeframes are estimates and can vary due to factors outside our control (courier delays, busy periods, severe weather, etc.).


6. Address accuracy & failed deliveries

Please make sure your delivery address and contact details are complete and correct at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays or lost items caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to collect from a delivery office, we may charge additional shipping costs to resend, or deduct shipping from any refund (where applicable).

If you realise there is an address mistake after placing your order, please contact us at support@elixirstore.co.uk as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once processing has begun, especially for fragrances and custom items.


7. Orders not received

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your shipping confirmation email for tracking details (where provided).

  2. Check with neighbours or your local delivery office in case the parcel has been left nearby or held.

  3. If you still cannot locate your order, contact us at support@elixirstore.co.uk with:

    • Your full name

    • Your order number

    • Details of the items ordered

We will investigate with the courier and let you know the next steps.


8. Damaged or incorrect items on delivery

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Please email support@elixirstore.co.uk as soon as possible after delivery.

  • Include your order number and clear photos of:

    • The packaging

    • The item(s) received

    • Any visible damage or errors

We will review the issue and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
