Last updated: 6 December 2025
Welcome to Elixir Store (elixirstore.co.uk).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from us.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
1. Who we are
Elixir Store (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website elixirstore.co.uk (the “Site”).
If you have any questions about these Terms, you can contact us at:
Email: support@elixirstore.co.uk
2. Use of the Site
-
You must be at least 18 years old or accessing the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian to place an order.
-
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Site by, any other person.
-
We reserve the right to refuse access to the Site, suspend accounts or cancel orders at our discretion if we believe there is misuse, fraud or a breach of these Terms.
3. Our products
-
We sell beauty, fragrance and accessory products, including personalised and custom items.
-
We aim to display product colours, descriptions and images as accurately as possible, but slight variations may occur (for example, due to screen settings, print finishes or material batches).
-
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or change products at any time.
4. Prices and payment
-
All prices on the Site are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
-
We may change prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
-
You must pay the full price for your order (including any applicable shipping charges) at checkout using one of the payment methods offered.
-
By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method and that the information provided is accurate and complete.
-
Your order will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully processed.
5. Orders and acceptance
-
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging that we have received it. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
-
A contract between you and us is formed only when we dispatch the product(s) and send you a shipping confirmation email.
-
We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if:
-
The product is unavailable
-
We cannot authorise your payment
-
There is a pricing or description error
-
We suspect fraud or misuse
-
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.
6. Personalised and custom items
Many items on our Site can be personalised (for example, with initials or names).
-
You are responsible for ensuring that all personalisation details (e.g. spelling, initials, name, colour choice) are correct at the time of order.
-
Personalised or custom items are made specifically for you and, as set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy:
-
They cannot usually be returned or refunded if you change your mind, order the wrong product, or enter personalisation details incorrectly.
-
If a personalised item arrives faulty, damaged, or with an error caused by us, we will provide a replacement free of charge once suitable proof has been received and approved.
-
For more information, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
7. Shipping and delivery
-
We will ship your order to the address you provide at checkout. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate and complete.
-
Shipping methods, delivery timescales and charges are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Any delivery dates provided are estimates only.
-
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, customs delays, courier issues, strikes, severe weather).
-
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal by the recipient, or failure to collect from a delivery office, we may charge additional shipping fees to resend or deduct shipping costs from any refund (where applicable).
8. Returns, refunds and replacements
Our returns and refunds procedures are explained in detail in our Returns & Refunds Policy, including:
-
30-day returns for eligible non-personalised items
-
Conditions for returns (e.g. unused, original packaging)
-
Rules on personalised items (generally non-returnable unless faulty or defective)
-
When return shipping is paid by you (e.g. change of mind, ordering the wrong product)
-
When we provide a free replacement (e.g. faulty or incorrect items upon delivery)
Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy before placing an order.
9. Promotions, discount codes and gift cards
-
From time to time, we may run promotions or offer discount codes. Each promotion may have its own specific terms, which will be clearly stated on the Site or in our marketing.
-
Discounts may be subject to minimum spend, expiry dates, product exclusions or use limits.
-
Unless otherwise stated, promo codes:
-
Can only be used once per customer
-
Cannot be combined with other offers
-
Cannot be applied retroactively to past orders
-
-
If you use a discount code and later return items, your refund will be based on the amount actually paid, not the original full price.
10. User accounts and information
-
You may be able to create an account on our Site to view your orders and save your information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
-
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts if we suspect misuse, fraud or a breach of these Terms.
-
Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Reviews, comments and user content
If you submit reviews, comments, photos or other content (“User Content”) to the Site:
-
You agree not to submit anything that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, misleading, infringing or otherwise inappropriate.
-
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify and display such content in connection with our business (for example, on our Site or social media), in compliance with applicable laws.
-
We may remove or edit User Content at any time if we believe it breaches these Terms or is inappropriate.
12. Intellectual property
-
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions and design, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
-
You may use the Site and its content for personal, non-commercial use only.
-
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or exploit any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent.
13. Third-party services and links
-
Our Site may include links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us (for example, payment providers, social media, tracking or analytics tools).
-
We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party sites or services, and you access them at your own risk.
-
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and conditions and privacy policies.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
-
Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law
Subject to the above:
-
We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable at the time you place your order or use the Site.
-
We are not liable for any business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill where you use our products or Site for business purposes.
-
Our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any contract for the sale of products shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant order.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
15. Events outside our control
We will not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, natural disasters, strikes, failures of telecommunications or transport networks, or other force majeure events).
If such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our business, legal requirements or Site functionality.
When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The version of the Terms in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
